Gem Lore PH is a collaboration between ArtinJewels and Safir Jewellery & Gems Malaysia. The team is composed of people who share a deep love for the irreplaceable gifts of the earth. They are experts who have years of experience sourcing rough gems from local communities around the world and cutting these gems into the most beautiful jewels one can ever behold. Each gemstone is a treasure that lives on with us. Each treasure is a bright and shining story to be passed on for many generations to come.
A Commitment to Sustainability
Gem Lore PH is built on the strong foundation of experts from Safir Gems, which started as a small, family-run mining company in Kazakhstan (year 1932). Over the years, Safir Gems expanded its business into a lapidary in Sri Lanka and gem cutting in Malaysia. The team continues to build long-term relationships with LOCAL mining families all over the world to ensure the responsible sourcing of its gems.
Gem Lore PH's end-to-end process of sourcing the gemstone rough to cutting and faceting them not only creates visibility around the production process but also benefits the local communities from which the gems originate (e.g. Sri Lanka, Brazil, Tanzania, etc.).

At the helm of Gem Lore PH’s production process is our gemologist team who combine years of experience in the gem trade with state-of-the-art laboratory equipment for identifying natural gemstones. From assessing quality rough that will yield the most beautiful jewels, to identifying the presence of treatments and enhancements, we are able to offer transparency regarding our products. Elegance & Craft
Our cutter is a father-and-son team who work together to design the cuts and execute them on fitting gemstones. They use the latest in cutting techniques and high quality diamond dust to ensure the best polish that can be achieved. We cut what is best for a small batch of rough rather than applying a single design for mass production. This minimises wastage while allowing each gemstone's unique personality to shine.
